My visit at Snow Valley Motel was very pleasant. This was my first time staying in fernie and was a bit concerned about the noise from the trains that frequently pass through. This motel was located a good distance from the tracks and was quiet and comfortable. The staff was very friendly as well. I would stay again!
It was a great one bedroom suite and the front desk was very friendly. The only serious down side is how close it is to the highway. It was loud. The other down side was that next to our room was a couple who were drunk and arguing loudly. Swearing. Slamming doors. The works. BUT as soon as I called it into the manager he was on it and it was taken care of. Bonus points for that. You can't control who else is staying at a motel with you but at the very least your peace should be guaranteed in the price. Thank you!
Would definitely stay here again... Good price and kind of a funky spot right in the middle of town. Also very friendly and helpful staff.
Stayed in a 2 bedroom suite. Dishes were definately not clean. 1 room with 2 beds and a pull out couch was decent. Queen bed in the other with an ensuite full bath. Honestly the place is run down..hard. They are doing renovations but kind of cheating out. 1x4 for baseboards and trim. No straight pieces. Pictures on Google must be from 50 years ago and photo touched . Doesn't look anything like that. Pay for what you get. 229 for the suite a night. If you just need a place to crash...this would be it.Staff is super friendly and helpful.
Affordable motel close to everything in Fernie. Unfortunately while we were there we were put in a room next to Reno's with an asbestos warning which was both loud and off putting. Staff was really nice though
