We loved the atmosphere. Lovely pool in the courtyard surrounded by large pots of flowers., The room was very clean, the proprietor was exceptionally helpful and friendly. Good coffee. We will definitely stay here again.
I really think this is a great budget spot but its current rating is a bit generous. Its clean and front desk guy was great. But the rooms and insides are extremely dated. Pillows and bed also not great.
Stayed here on Thursday before the long weekend. Our vehicle broke down about 20 min outside of Fernie. While my husband and son were waiting for a tow truck my daughter and I needed a cab since we all couldn't fit in the tow truck. We were unable to get a hold of the cab company so I asked the gentleman who answered the phone at Powder Lodge for advice. He called me back and said a cab would come to get my daughter and I from the side of the highway in 30-45 min! Amazing service! The place itself is very clean, quiet and comfortable. I would highly recommend!Thank you again Powder Mountain Lodge!
The gentlemen that was working the front desk was amazing. He was such a nice guy I felt like I should give the place a 5 star review. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because it's an older place. It's a little run down. Everything was still clean and very nice. The bathtub wasn't draining well but I loved having a kitchen and refrigerator. It had everything I needed to make simple meals and store food. We got to enjoy the hot tub after hours which was a very nice thing after a long day of snowboarding. If you don't mind a few age imperfections in the building then I would highly recommend Powder Mountain Lodge.
We absolutely love this place. It's a simple motel but the rooms provide everything you want, it's comfortable, super clean, and the owner, Sam, is so wonderful and helpful and he keeps the grounds looking fantastic in the summer. There's a great courtyard with flowers and a pool and it's a lovely place to sit and read when you're not mountainbiking, hiking, and enjoying all of what Fernie has to offer. We've been there at all times of year and there's so much to do and Powder Mountain Lodge is the perfect place to enjoy it from - great prices, perfect location, great owner!
