Hands down the best breakfast in Fernie! We (local) treat ourselves to a delicious breakfast/brunch once a month, if not more often. You cant go wrong with anything on their unique menu, but my personal favourite is the Turkish Eggs. Be warned you will need to keep your distance from loved ones for the rest of the day (due to garlic breathe). A small price to pay for such a special combination of flavours and textures.
We love the Blue Toque! It's our go to place for friends and family on a visit to Fernie! They have imaginative and healthy options, and a very diverse menu! Many things that other places would buy in bulk, they have preserved or made themselves. The location is awesome (it's in the old converted train station), and the people there are proud of the food they create! Just make sure you get there before the rush!
Food is deadly good here!I noticed the service was a bit delayed but that was attributed to them making food from scratch. A great stop if you are not in a hurry
A popular place for brunch. The food is always great, and there is a great patio for summertime dining. Opens late if your someone who expects breakfast first thing in the morning. On the weekends, expect a rush around 10:30.
I had another excellent meal at the blue toque. I came in with 4 of my friends. It is our favourite place to go in fernie, the drinks there are so inventive, creative and down right delicious!! I always loved the mimosa flight and now they have a homemade lemonade sampler as well. Its such a good way to try a lot of different flavours. The cocktails are some off the best you can get in fernie too. The food is always delicious and with such a big menu its always hard to choose. Everything is so good! The service is really good, the staff are very friendly and attentive. The owner Tanya always takes very good care of us. She is very helpful, and offers a lot of suggestions about the menu and the new features they have. She is very sweet. I highly recommend this place to both locals and visitors. 10/10!!
