Absolutely a 10/10. Brought a broken bike in and they had me back riding right away. Willing to put in the extra effort to make sure your bike is fixed right. Fun people to hangout with. Shop has a bit of everything!
We stopped into the shop without warning with two broken bikes and a need to continue our trip on the GDMBR quickly. Sam and another mechanic took care of us quickly and we were on our way. Can't say enough about the service!
We love the gearhub! Visit it every time we are in fernie in winter and summer. Staff are extremely knowledgeable , owner is friendly and inviting , great variety of merchandise and services. Recommend for shopping, rentals and bike parts. Have scored great deals at their end of season sales. Great central location.
Have to say I was impressed with this mob. Booked ahead to rent a bike for a couple of days to explore Fernie's trails. Bike was ready when I asked to pick it up and they were happy to put on my pedals. Started to notice after day 1 (after 30k and 1000m) the brake pads needed replacing. Quick trip to the shop and I was back on the trails in minutes. I would go back especially for the rental.
I stopped in for unscheduled repairs and they accommodated me quickly and courteously. The tech who worked on my bike was clearly skilled and knowledgeable. I can't recommend them highly enough.
