Fantastic campground! Came here for the first time in July and will be back! The shower area is amazing (completely private) and the best part is that its completely free to shower; that was new to us. The tent sites were beautiful, spacious and came with a parking pad. We were right next to the bathrooms and sink station which was great. Good price for quality firewood, which they deliver to you as well. Although they do not have a pool, it was not missed. Large playground to keep the little ones busy throughout the day. The evenings were peaceful and quiet. Beautiful views and location.
We love the resort. The new playground is fantastic, out two boys loved it. The staff are incredibly helpful with campground and Fernie related questions. They loan a free regulator since their water pressure is so high.The location of the campground right on the river provides quick access to bike paths and hiking trails. Pick up a growler from the Fernie Brewing Company and enjoy your stay.
We have been to the resort twice now and on both occasions we have really enjoyed the resort & park. The staff are extremely helpful and take seriously the customer service. The convenience of being a hop skip & a jump from town is super awesome cause you can drive, bike or even stroll to town for the essentials when you need them. The atmosphere is awesome and the feeling of being in the mountains is truly all around you when you are in the RV park. The amenities are perfect; the showers, bathrooms and dish washing stations are great, the only thing negative, is the showers are without any kind of shelf for things like your shampoo or soap. The laundry facilities are great too but the machines appear to be problematic for the resort, given that half of them were out of order on both occasions, which must pose issues during busy times. However, its my guess that once there is a small store and propane filling station in place, I am sure the resort will be even more attractive to all customers new and repeat customers cause those really are the only things that was missing from the park, that and not having an overnight camp host for the resort available in case of emergency, which might cause some concern for consumers looking for an RV resort. But really it is only a quick call in emergencies I guess. Finally, although we couldnt seem to access the cable service on our RV antenna, we found the resort has decent wifi service. We highly recommend the Fernie RV resort its worth every $ you pay to stay!
Bathrooms and establishment itself was really nice. Have never seen such fancy sinks and showers at a campsite. However, it's not that private and is more around parking a huge RV on a lot than camping in the nature. Views are gorgeous.
Very friendly welcome, and the most helpful weve had yet. Great clean sites, lovely views of the mountains close to town but without the noise. Fantastic personal washrooms make a huge difference. Thank you, were sad we only get a short stay
